Malbec 2016
VINEYARDS:
Finca in high aggregate, located at 1,030 meters above sea level and Finca in Los Chacayes at 1,100 meters above sea level, in Tunuyán, Valle de Uco.
HARVEST:
manual, in small boxes of 20 kg, during the morning.
FERMENTATION:
the grape is macerated in cold for 5 days, yeasts, indigenous, with a total duration of the covering up of approx. 28 days. The malolactic fermentation is carried out with the natural flora.
Aging: in 80% French and 20% American oak vessels.
Guarding capacity: UP TO 8 YEARS
TASTING NOTES:
View: Intense reds stand out in their color, with violet hues that mark the presence of the varietal’s characteristic pigments.
Nose: It has a clean and full entrance, with red fruits in which plum and raspberry are highlighted, combined with the aromas given by the oak in which we can find vanilla and some notes of roasted coffee.
Mouth: Its great volume stands out, it is an intense wine, of great persistence, with a balanced acidity that evokes red fruit sensations again, leaving us some notes of jam.
